CHFT DIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIP

Homestarts has contributed over $48,000 to the Co-operative Diversity Scholarship program.  The Co-operative Diversity Scholarship program recognizes people living in housing co-ops who are actively promoting diversity through work within their community and provides a financial bursary towards their post-secondary education.

The program funds the diversity scholarship programs of the CHFT and Golden Horseshoe, Peel Halton and Central Ontario (COCHF) and South Eastern Ontario (CHASEO) co-operative housing federations.

Homestarts Incorporated recognizes that it operates and supports housing providers on traditional Indigenous territories across the province.  We acknowledge that there are 46 treaties and other agreements that cover the territory now called Ontario.
